Hi, I’m Ryan but you can call me Chef Chubs!
As a personal chef in Boulder, Colorado, I’ve been working around food for the past 8 years. I started my journey in Seattle, Washington where I attended Culinary School from 2009-2011.
After graduating with a degree in Culinary Arts and Chef Training I worked at Pike Place Market downtown and Steelhead Diner. Since then I’ve lived in Texas and Hawaii before circling back to my home state.
My love of all things food started when I had my first experience with an over-easy egg when I was twelve years old. It was like eating nature’s butter and I was hooked. I have a passion for food, cooking and teaching others how to enjoy what they eat.
I enjoy doing grocery shopping, meal planning, and prepping food for weekly meals. I strive to make dishes that are simple and let the ingredients shine.
I like to produce meals with only 4 ingredients per component so there’s less waste while still being delicious. Ready to work with me on your weekly meal plan?
I regularly cater special family events and private parties. I prefer parties of 2-10 people since there is usually more prep, items, and moving parts involved with larger parties.

Throughout 2017 I worked as the Culinary Lead at Boulder, Colorado’s Sur La Table store. I hosted many cooking classes and showcased how to use different kitchen products and knives.
